Our Course
Below is a basic walk-through of our course and how it works. Please read carefully to understand what Inspire is all about!
6-WEEK/18 HOUR COURSE
The course provides the educational background required to properly understand the techniques in phlebotomy as well as hands on training. It includes basic knowledge in human anatomy, functions of the clinical laboratory, principles of infection control, personal protection, and relevant techniques in properly performing phlebotomy procedure safely and efficiently. It is taught by a Certified Phlebotomy Instructor (ACA).
I offer a day or evening course option: Tuesdays 10am-1pm or 6pm-9pm. On the first day of the course, students receive a Phlebotomy textbook and workbook Phlebotomy Essentials adopted books, as well as a handbook with study tools. Before completion of the course, you will also receive a personalized set of scrubs. Upon completion, each student will then receive contact information to have the option to schedule a clinical for hands-on experience before entering the job market
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
The following requirements must be met for successful completion of the Phlebotomy Technician Program:
• 18 Classroom Hours Receiving sticks from other students
• Completion of all weekly homework assignments Score of 85% or above on the Exit Exam Full and Complete knowledge of all information on the Draw Chart.
CLASS INFORMATION
Class are held 4 times a year, only 10 students per class time allowing a more personable education. For now the classes are held on on Tuesdays 10a-1p and again from 6p-9p for 6 weeks.
